Shiori Naruse is our second artist at Tyne Derwent Way at Dunston Staiths for our FREE drop programme of creative workshops. Create a one-off monoprint(s) taking inspiration from nature and the riverside. Shiori will guide you through the process, showing you how to experiment with ideas. Shiori’s workshop will take place on Thursday 6 February, 3-5pm and Saturday 8 February, 12-2pm. All workshops are free and drop-in, no need to book. All materials will be provided.
Before the workshop on Saturday there will be a talk by Sirkka-Liisa Konttinen about her photograph series, Coal Staiths of the Tyne. This will start at 10.30am. Further information and how to book a place can be found on the Tyne Derwent Way website.
