Even though its half term we are still running workshops at Tyne Derwent Way @ Dunston Staiths space!
Liv Hunt is our fifth artist at Tyne Derwent Way at Dunston Staiths for our FREE drop programme of creative workshops. Taking inspiration from folk tales and historical characters from Gateshead, we’ll bring them to life through puppetry and storytelling! Liv will guide you through the process of making your own shadow-puppet to take away with you. Liv’s workshops will take place on Thursday 27 February, 3-5pm and Saturday 1 March, 10.30am-1.30pm. All workshops are free and drop-in, no need to book. All materials will be provided.
The workshops all take place in the new community space: Tyne Derwent Way at Dunston Staiths, Staithes Rd, Dunston, Gateshead NE11 9DR (https://w3w.co/jokes.spoil.waving) – look for the signs by Dunston Excelsior Club!

Ceramics with Lisa Delarny, Thursday 13 (3 to 5pm) and Saturday 15 March (10.30am to 1.30pm)
Cyanotype with Dominic Smith, Thursday 20 (3 to 5pm) and Saturday 22 March (10.30am to 1.30pm)
Puppets and felt animals with Pui Lee, Thursday 27 (3 to 5pm) and Saturday 29 March (10.30am to 1.30pm)
