We won! Earlier this year we were nominated for Gateshead Awards 2024 under the category Tackling Climate Change for our arts and citizen science project Bees of Bensham with Barbara Keating. Tonight we found out that we won! Thank you for all who we have worked with and who have supported us over the two years. Project Coordinator, Amy Mitchell, Climate Action North, The Comfrey Project, Oxford Terrace and Rawling Road Medical Group, Natural History Society of Northumbria, Northumbria University and all the other community groups, experts, academics and our resident group of interested local people.
