Angelika Strohmayer

Angelika Strohmayer is our sixth artist at Tyne Derwent Way at Dunston Staiths for our FREE drop programme of creative workshops. Join us for an Intuitive Embroidery Workshop to celebrate the arrival of spring and the rejuvenating spirit of the Tyne Derwent Way. This creative session invites you to explore the healing power of nature through embroidery, honouring Mother Nature’s ability to reclaim land and inspire hope for the future. Together, we’ll stitch stories of renewal, growth, and connection to the land, creating vibrant, personal pieces that reflect the promise of what’s to come.

Angelika’s workshops will take place on Thursday 6 March, 3-5pm and Saturday 8 March, 10.30am-1.30pm. All workshops are free and drop-in, no need to book. All materials will be provided.

The workshops all take place in the new community space: Tyne Derwent Way at Dunston Staiths, Staithes Rd, Dunston, Gateshead NE11 9DR (https://w3w.co/jokes.spoil.waving) – look for the signs by Dunston Excelsior Club!
